Angels & Cowboys is the art of contrast—refinement with an edge, sophistication with a streak of rebellion. More than a wine, it’s a lifestyle for those who own every side of who they are.
Launched in 2014, Angels & Cowboys is a collaboration between Yoav Gilat, founder of SHARE A SPLASH Wine Co., and renowned Northern California graphic designer Michael Schwab. What began with a mysterious icon and a meaningful name has evolved into a collection of standout wines crafted to indulge the lover, the trailblazer, and the rebel in all of us.
The portfolio launched with the Provençal-styled Sonoma County Rosé and the Sonoma County Proprietary Red and has since expanded to include Traditional-method Brut, North Coast Cabernet, and Sonoma County Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.

Rooted in Sonoma, Angels & Cowboys draws inspiration from classic French wines and reimagines them with a bold California spirit. Our wines celebrate the art and alchemy of blending, crafted with depth, balance, and generosity to complement the food, people, and moments that bring us together.
A&C wines are sourced from some of Sonoma County’s most prestigious growers in Carneros, Russian River Valley, Dry Creek Valley and select sites within the North Coast of California.
A shared, holistic commitment to protecting, enhancing, and regenerating the terroirs from which we source our grapes is the foundation of our grower partnerships. From low-impact farming to addressing social responsibility, holistic sustainability addresses the needs of the land and the people who are stewards of it.

Yoav Gilat
Founder of SHARE A SPLASH Wine Co. His creative vision and collaborative partnership led to the launch of Angels & Cowboys in 2014, blending outstanding wine quality with iconic graphic illustration.
Michael Schwab
Michael has established a national reputation as one of America’s leading graphic artists, creating award-winning logos and posters for an impressive roster of prestigious clients. The iconic Angels & Cowboys mark is Michael’s personal interpretation of a white-tailed deer skull that hangs in his studio.
Ondine Chattan
Ondine Chattan is a passionate Sonoma County winemaker with experience ranging from cult boutique producers to notable household name brands. Her love of the diversity of Sonoma and California at large fuels her enthusiasm for making a range of varietals from Sauvignon Blanc to Cabernet.
